* Homework is not required but it is recommended.
* It is not graded and does not have to be turned in.
* It should be a no tears/no fear zone.
* Important for studying sight words, math fact practice and
reading.
*What are sight words
Variety of ways to volunteer-
* work with the students in a small group setting or
one-on-one. (Clearance required)
* work "behind the scenes" Assembling books or crafts. (clearance not required)
* Come at the end of the day and read a book to the children
(clearance not required).
* Chaperone on field trips. In order to chaperone a group of
children you will need to fulfill the volunteer requirements,
finger printing and TB test.
* If you are interested in coming on the field trip but are not a
cleared volunteer you are welcome to come along but you will only be responsible for your child.
