Independent Study

If your child needs to be absent from school the following on-line activities will help them to keep up with assignments they might miss.

Assignments for your child:

Our Learning Video page includes songs, our Word of the Day videos, math lesson videos and Heggerty videos.  Heggerty is a very  important component of our reading program.  It helps the students practice their phonemic awareness, it is the foundation for reading.  The math videos are the math lessons that I will be teaching the students that week.

When your child is in class they work on a program called Zearn.  Zearn teaches the concepts that I teach in class.  It would be very beneficial for your child to continue to work on Zearn at home when they are absent.  Click on the button below that says Zearn.  It will take you to a page where you will find a link to Zearn and your child's login information.

ST Math is a math program that we work on every day.  Please click on the ST Math button below.  This will take you to our Student Online Code page.  Once there, scroll down and you will see a link to ST Math and your child's picture password.

Your child can practice their spelling words by completing assignments on Vocabulary A-Z.
